AAMC Art of Diagnosis 2022
SIDM welcomed medical students from Temple University School of Medicine, University of Toledo School of Medicine, and staff from Florida International University--Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine to give a brief presentation during the morning conference sessions on October 17 and October 18 on their completed "Art of Diagnosis" projects and their takeaways from being a part of such a meaningful program supporting medical students across the country.
SIDM2022 Conference Summit Summaries
Each year, SIDM brings together hundreds of individuals and groups from the diagnostic safety community to the Diagnostic Errors in Medicine conference to share best practices, galvanize partnerships, and collectively advocate to move the field forward to keep patients and families safe from harm. Three convocations within the conference – the Patient Summit, the Diagnostic Quality Improvement Summit, and the Research and Education Summit – served as interactive, problem-solving workshops with an emphasis on diagnosis teamwork.
